Provide a positive space for youth within underprivileged communities to learn and nurture emotional intelligence and character development through the discipline of dance.

The need
LAUSD, the second-largest school district in the nation, is taking steps to integrate Social Emotional and Character Development (SECD) into classrooms. However, few programs are led by certified SECD instructors—and funding for the arts and structured physical activity continues to shrink. This creates a critical gap in support for the whole child.
At our nonprofit, we see this not just as a challenge, but as a powerful opportunity. With your support, we can bring high-quality, instructor-led SECD programs into schools, enriching students’ lives through evidence-based practices that build resilience, empathy, and character. Together, we can invest in the future of education—and in the well-being of every student we reach.
